This started with my daughters. I wanted them to feel confident in their own skin — without irritation, without that “clean” label that still burns, and without routines that feel like a full-time job.

I kept seeing the same pattern: “premium” skincare that’s overpriced and out of touch… built on water, fragrance, and filler — then sold back to people like it’s science. It’s not.

So I did the most Dad thing possible: I went to the kitchen. I learned INCI. I studied texture, stability, and what skin actually recognizes. I stripped the noise. I rebuilt from nourishment.

And the New York in me kicked in. This city doesn’t reward fantasy. It rewards what works. So we say it plain, show our work, and keep it obtainable.
